Eliza Beth Reichert was born on July 24th early in the morning, after being in labor for 24 hours and pushing the last 3. We are so happy to have her come safely. I can't imagine giving birth back in any age before the epidural was invented and used for labor. I admire all women who have had to give birth naturally. Especially those pioneer women having to cross the plains with their families and giving birth and many times burying their babies along the way. Eliza was 6 lbs and 12 oz  and 21inches long. She is growing and changing everyday.  Philip is thrilled and loves taking pictures of her and showing her off to any and everyone.
