June

It has been a busy summer. We have enjoyed all the time we have been able to spend with family. We had a good time with Phin for his birthday and loved swimming with cousins.

Philip had some opportunities to sing the national anthem at a few events. This is at a baseball game in Ogden. He has a small group from the air force who sing with him.

Eliza just keeps on growing. No crawling yet, but she has clapping her hands, waving, peek-a-boo, and shaking her head no pretty well learned. She can do 360 in turning around on her tummy and while sitting on the floor. She has started to bounce on her hands and knees in the crib and when I lay her on our bed. She thinks its a great game and giggles every time she face plants into the bed. She still wants to drink in the middle of the night and wants us to continue holding her bottle for her. She enjoys music and usually has her hands waving to the music or her whole body. Eating solids is a slow process still, but I have managed to feed cereal to her from a spoon once or twice. She will usually try anything we have for dinner, but if she doesn't like it she pulls it out of her mouth and flings in onto the ground.  She loves books and has never tired of me reading them to her. She sleeps well for her naps  as do I, because I usually end up falling asleep with her. She acts shy with people when they say hi and touch her, but is content to be held by strangers and loves watching little kids play.

Tawnya and Jami had their baby and I couldn't resist seeing him when I was in Logan. I loved that  Jameson has so much hair. Tawnya is adjusting so well to being a mom.

Philip had his Birthday this month and we celebrated with his family. He was excited to get a cap gun. Also for his Birthday we went to the Manti pageant and enjoyed spending time with Audrey's and Matt's families.

I took some pictures of Matt's family riding horses, but somehow missed getting one of Ben by himself. Sorry Emily!

I love watching these two together and can't get enough of seeing them interact.

We got to see all kinds of baby animals. I think we are holding a duck here.

We liked the soft fur of the bunny.

We are all holding a brand new puppy!

Eliza got her first ride on a horse with mom and enjoyed the bouncing around.

This is the weekend before the 4th I think, since Eliza is wearing her red white and blue.

  1. What a great update! I think we've really missed out not going to the Manti pageant and Brett's Farm. What an adventure! Eliza is cute as ever and you've gotten some darling pictures of her!
