We had a rough start to our Disneyland trip, but it all turned out okay and we had a great time being there. I had forgotten where I put my wallet and at 430 am I was scrambling and searching for it with no success. With our flight leaving soon and with desperation I plead for help from Philip and Heavenly Father and they both answered my prayers. Philip found the wallet in the same bag I had searched several times already. We left the house and headed to the airport, but we were too late to make our flight. The airline helped us find another flight, but it had a layover and we pretty much spent all day at the airport. I am so glad Philip was there and was able to help me rangle the girls and keep me steady with my mind in panic/worry mode.
The girls loved meeting the characters and I think their favorites where Minnie and Mickey mouse, Elsa and Anna from Frozen.
The Park was decorated with lots of pumpkins and Halloween decor. Philip enjoyed some of the bigger rides and we all enjoyed the Frozen play. The parade was fun to watch with the girls and we felt like we saw everyone in it. We met Winnie the pooh and his friends, Mary Poppins, and Donald Duck, Pluto. The girls and I were exhausted by dinner time and went back to the hotel to swim or go to bed early. The rides were fun and the girls liked the tea cups, dumbo, and any kind of train/car ride. They also loved the merry-go round.
We happened to be at the park at the same time as two of Eliza's church friends. It was so fun to see their excited faces as they were going on some of the rides together.
For Halloween we had our annual Robertson party at Seth and Suzanne's. Philip was Prince Philip and was accompanied by Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel. I was a snowman, but the girls said I was Olaf. We played lots of fun games and enjoyed being with cousins. The girls enjoyed trick or treating at This is the Place Heritage Park and we saw some other princesses there like Belle and Snow White.
I have been working more this month due to a change in the charting program we use at the hospital. I am exhausted after staying up all night and wonder how long can I keep doing it for. I really like working nights over during the day, but my body is definitely getting older. Philip is also tired of his 10 hour shifts and still is looking for a new job using his Master's Degree.
